Just Ducky Baby Afghan
Lion Brand® Vanna's Choice® Baby
GAUGE: 18 sts + 24 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS) with larger needles. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: 1. Lines and motifs are worked in duplicate st after Afghan is knitted. Lines form a grid that is 5 blocks wide and 7 blocks high. Motifs are worked in alternate blocks.
2. Circular needles are used to accommodate large number of stitches. Work back and forth as If working on straight needles.

This was not an easy pattern to follow. When it comes to the grid, no specifics are given as to measurements. The little motif that is used at the intersections of the grid blocks is not given.
Lastly, when it comes to finishing, complete side directions are given, but not for top and bottom. Only one color direction is given and you need it for two.
