GAUGE:
16 sts + 23 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) over Seed st. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Row 9 (cable row): Work 5 sts in Seed st, k3, 4/5 RC, 4/5 LC, k6, 4/5 RC, 4/5 LC, k3, work 5 sts in Seed st.


Row 13: Rep Row 3.


Rep Rows 2-13 until Scarf measures about 72 in.

(183 cm), ending with a WS row.
