GAUGE:
18 sts + 14 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. With A, ch 37.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, *ch 1, sk next ch, sc in next ch; rep from * to last 2 ch, sc in each of last 2 ch.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn.
Sc in each of next 2 sts, *ch 1, sk next st, sc in next ch-1 sp; rep from * to last 2 sts, sc in each of last 2 sts.
Rep Row 2 until piece measures about 8 in.
(20.5 cm) from beg.
Fasten off.
SQUARE B (make 10)
With B, ch 37.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each of next 2 ch, *ch 2, sk 2 ch, sc in each of next 2 ch; rep from * to last ch, sc in last ch.
