GAUGE:
Rnds 1-2 of Square = about 3 1/2 in. (9 cm) 1 Square = about 15 x 15 in. (38 x 38 cm) When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles. Making a Gauge Swatch
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.

NOTES:
1.

Squares are worked in joined rnds, with RS always facing you.

Each rnd is worked in a different color.

Fasten off at the end of each rnd and join new color at the beg of each new rnd.
2.

A stitch diagram is provided for how to construct the Square.

Refer to written instructions for specific Square for colors.
3.

To keep Afghan square, join new color in a different corner on each rnd.
4.

Nine Squares are worked in 3 different color sequences.

Squares are arranged according to Assembly Diagram and sewn tog.
