GAUGE: 10 stitches = 4 inches [10 cm] in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

SPA CLOTH
With A, cast on 32 stitches.
Rows 1-6 Knit
Row 7-8 Using one strand of B and one of A, held together, knit
Rows 9-10 Knit 2, *knit 1, purl 1; repeat from * across to last 2 stitches, knit 2.
Repeat Rows 7-10 for pattern until piece measures 13 inches from beginning, ending with pattern Row 8.
With A alone, knit 6 rows, Bind off all stitches, weave in ends. |

| Ihave made 4 of these cloths, I found it was much easier to sew the strips of netting together rather than trying to weave in the ends. It takes a little time, but equals out in the long run because you are not continualy adding another strip. I also did several smaller ones casting on 26 stitches, making a 8" square.
