9 in. [23 cm] nylon net fabric in the color of your choice, cut into 3/4 in. [2 cm.] wide strips. This is used as the second 'yarn' in the pattern. (B)
10 sts = 4 inches [10 cm] in pattern When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. BPdc Yo, insert hook from back to front then to back, going around the dc post, draw up a loop, (yo and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice.
Skip st in front of the BPdc.
With A Ch 34 sts.
Foundation Row Dc in 4th chain from hook; dc in each rem ch across - 32 dc.
Rows 1 and 2 Ch 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each dc across, turn.
Row 3 Chain 2 (counts as first hdc), dc in each of first 2 dc, * dc in next dc, FPdc around post of next dc, skip 1 st behind FPdc; rep from * to last 2 sts, dc in each of last 2 dc, hdc in top of turning ch, turn.
Row 4 Ch 2, dc in each of next 2 dc, * BPdc around post of next dc, skip 1 st behind BPdc, dc in next dc; rep from * to last 2 dc, dc in each of last 2 dc, hdc in top of turning ch, turn.
Using one strand of A and one of B, rep Rows 1-4 for pattern until piece measures 12 inches from beg.
With A alone, rep rows 1-4; fasten off.
