GAUGE:

16 st x 24 rows = 4 in [10 cm.] BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

NOTES:

The piece will shrink while being felted. Check the size after washing and before putting in the dryer -- if it is the size you want, stop at that point and air-dry.

Felted Glasses Case Reviewed by Rebecca Westcott on 2008-11-22 *****
Wonderful "little" find. I also made it to match a felted purse and now everyone I know wants one. Easy to make and as many variations as Lion Brand Wool colors. I also have altered the size for "reading" glasses and even smaller for a pen or pencil holder for purse or brief case.
