Felted Needle Holder
Lion Brand® Lion® Wool
GAUGE: 16 stitches by 24 rows = 4" (10 cm) with US #8 (5mm) needles before felting BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: | All rows are worked in stockinette(knit on right side, purl on wrong side.) |

FELTING:
Wash Needle Holder by machine on a hot wash/cold rinse cycle with detergent and several pieces
of clothing to agitate. To felt additionally, dry by machine on a regular setting until almost
dry. Remove from dryer and pull into shape. For more about felting, click
here.
Insert needles through the felt for storage. Felt, once made, will not unravel like
knitting does, so if necessary, cut holes in the felt for larger needles. |

| I love this pattern! Super fast and my first felting project that actually felted nicely! I made it a bit wider and I doubled the length so I could fit most of my needles into one holder. Works great!
