GAUGE:
11 sts and 10 rows = 4 in. in hdc When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles. Making a Gauge Swatch
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.

STITCH EXPLANATION:
Back post double crochet (bpdc) and front post double crochet (fpdc) stitches are abbreviated throughout.

NOTES:
Ch-2 counts as 1 hdc throughout.

This piece is easily customizable.

To make it longer or shorter in length, add or subtract stitches to the width of the panel between the cables; to change the circumference, add or subtract rows to the length of the panel by continuing the pattern repeat as needed.
