Additional Materials
Double-ended Tunisian crochet hook size J-10 (6 mm)
GAUGE:
12 sts + 12 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in two-color Tunisian crochet worked in the rnd. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles. Making a Gauge Swatch
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.

NOTES:
1.

Use double-ended hook as a single-ended crochet hook where indicated.

2.

Base of Tote is worked in joined rnds with RS facing throughout.

Markers are placed in the st at each end of the base to indicate where increases should be worked.

Always move markers up to the center sc of the 3-sc group.
