GAUGE:
1 Square = about 9 x 9 in. (23 x 23 cm). When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles. Making a Gauge Swatch
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.

STITCH EXPLANATION:
3/3 LC (3 over 3 left cross) Slip 3 sts to cable needle and hold in front of work, k3, then k3 from cable needle.
3/3 RC (3 over 3 right cross) Slip 3 sts to cable needle and hold in back of work, k3, then k3 from cable needle.
ssk Slip next 2 sts as if to knit, one at a time, to right needle; insert left needle into fronts of these 2 sts and knit them tog - 1 st decreased.
sk2p Slip 1 as if to knit, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over - 2 sts decreased.

NOTES:
1. Squares are knit, then sewn together following Assembly Diagram.
2. Squares may not match exactly in size.

Any small differences in size of Squares can be eased in when sewing Squares together.
3. The Throw is designed without a border.
