GAUGE:
3 1/2 Blocks (3-dc) + 4 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in Block pattern. 7 1/2 sc + 8 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles. Making a Gauge Swatch
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.

NOTES:
1.

Poncho is worked in rnds beg at the neck, in a pattern of 3-dc Blocks.
2.

Beg with Rnd 2, Blocks are worked in the spaces between Blocks of previous rnd.
3.

Poncho is shaped with two (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) corners, at both front and back.
4.

Edging is worked around neck edge of completed Poncho.
