GAUGE:
20 stitches = about 5 1/2 in. (14 cm) in Garter stitch (knit every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

INSTRUCTIONS



SCARF
Cast on 29 stitches.
Work in Garter stitch (knit every row) until piece measures about 60 in.

(152.5 cm) from beginning.
Bind off.



FINISHING
Trim the yarn ends so they are about 4 in.

(10cm) long.

With your fingers, weave the yarn ends in and out of the stitches of your Scarf so that the ends are secure.
