Additional Materials
MATERIALS NOTE Materials are sufficient to make all Trims 1-6 in the lengths specified above.
GAUGE:
19 sc + 23 rows = 4 in. (10 cm). When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles. Making a Gauge Swatch
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.

STITCH EXPLANATION:
Lsc (long single crochet) Insert hook into next st 2 rows below.

Yarn over and draw up a loop to the height of the current row.

Yarn over and draw through both loops on hook.Note: To work in a st 2 rows below, work into the st in the row numbered 2 less than the row being worked.

For example, if you are working Row 5 and are instructed to work ‘in next st 2 rows below’, you will work the next st from its position on Row 3.

NOTES:
1.

To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over.

Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete the st.2.

The instructions for each Trim specify a multiple of sts for the pattern.

To make longer lengths of any of the Trims, just work additional chs – enough to create additional multiples of the stitch pattern.
