GAUGE:
15 half double crochet stitches = about 4 in. (10 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.
INSTRUCTIONS
WRISTERS (make 2) Chain 32.
Row 1: Half double crochet in 3rd chain from hook and in each chain across.
Row 2: Chain 2, turn, half double crochet in each stitch across.
Repeat Row 2 until piece measures about 6 1/2 in.
(16.5 cm) from beginning.
Fasten off.
FINISHING Fold Wrister in half, bringing first row to meet last row.
Sew edges together for 1 in.
(2.5 cm), leave next 1 1/2 in.
(4 cm) open for thumb, then sew remainder of edges together.
Weave in ends.
