GAUGE:
Rnds 1-3 of pattern = about 5 1/2 in. (14 cm). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.

STITCH EXPLANATION:
STRIPE SEQUENCE Work 2 rnds each with A, B, C, and D.

NOTES:
1.

Blankie is worked in joined rnds, beg at the center, changing color following the Stripe Sequence.

2.

To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over.

Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete st.
