GAUGE:
One Square = about 3 in. (7.5 cm). When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles. Making a Gauge Swatch
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.

NOTES:
1.

Scarf is made from 60 Granny Squares.

2.

Each Granny Square is made with 4 different colors of A-F yarns.

Use colors as desired! We made 10 squares from each package of A-F yarns: 2 each of 5 different color combinations.

3.

Squares are sewed together into 3 strips of 20 Squares each.

The strips are then sewed together to make the Scarf.

4.

A border is crocheted around the outside edge of the completed Scarf.

5.

To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over.

Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops to complete st.

Fasten off old color.
