Circular knitting needle size 11 (8 mm), 16 in. (40.5 cm) long
GAUGE:
8 sts + 12 rows = 4 in. (10 cm) in St st (k on RS, p on WS). When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles. Making a Gauge Swatch
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.

STITCH EXPLANATION:
CDD (Centered Double Decrease) Sl 2 sts together as if to knit, k next st, pass sl sts over st just knit – 2 sts decreased.

NOTES:
1.

Pullover is worked in 4 pieces, Back, Front, and 2 Sleeves.

2.

After shoulders are seamed, stitches are picked up around the neck to work the neck edging.

3.

When you see 'work even' in the instructions, this means to continue on in the pattern st you have established without changing the st count by increasing, decreasing, or binding off.
