Thanksgiving Fruit Ornaments

This bowl of faux fruit ornaments will serve as a great hallway decoration when you greet guests at the door.
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner (Level 1)
Varies, about 4-5 in. (10-13 cm) tall
601-660 Bonbons Yarn: Celebrate
Metallic: Sparkling peach, red, hot pink, purple, pea green, emerald, light blue, and dark blue
Quantity needed: 1 Skeins
Craft foam fruits
FRUITSPin one end of yarn in desired color close to the stem end of Fruit. Pour glue onto paper plate. With paintbrush, apply glue to a small area of the Fruit. Wrap yarn over glued area. Continue to apply glue to one small area of Fruit at a time, then wrap with yarn, changing yarn colors as desired. When changing colors, cut old color, then begin wrapping with new color, covering cut end of old color.When Fruit has been completely wrapped, cut yarn. Secure yarn ends in place with glue, and remove straight pin. Allow glue to dry.If desired, pin or glue a folded length of yarn to top of Fruit as a hanging loop.Yarn amount is sufficient to wrap multiple Fruits.
