GAUGE:
1 Square = about 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 in. (7 x 7 cm). When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles. Making a Gauge Swatch
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.

STITCH EXPLANATION:
sc2tog (single crochet 2 stitches together) (Insert hook in next st and draw up a loop) twice, yarn over and draw through all 3 loops on hook – 1 st decreased.

NOTES:
1.

75 Squares and 10 Triangles are worked separately, then sewn tog into strips, following a diagram.

2.

A ripple pattern is worked across one long edge of each of the assembled strips.

3.

The strips are then sewn tog to make the Throw.

4.

Borders are worked around outside edges of completed Throw.

5.

To change color, work last st of old color to last yarn over.

Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete st.

Fasten off old color.
