STITCH EXPLANATION:
sc2tog (sc decrease) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop.

Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop.

Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook.

INSTRUCTIONS



CHERRYWith A, ch 2.

Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch; place a marker to indicate beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.

Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each sc around – at the end of this rnd you will have 12 sc.

Rnd 3: Sc in each sc around.

Stuff piece with a very small amount of fiberfill.

Rnd 4: (Sc2tog) around – 6 sc.

Fasten off.

WHIPPED CREAM With B, ch 2.

Row 1: Work 2 sc in first ch.

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, work 2 sc in each sc across – 4 sc.

Row 3: Ch 1, turn, work 6 sc in each sc across – 24 sc.

Fasten off.

HOT FUDGE (make 2) With C, ch 2.

Row 1: Work 2 sc in first ch.

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, work 2 sc in each sc across – 4 sc.

Row 3: Ch 1, turn, *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; rep from * across – 6 sc.

Row 4: Ch 1, turn, *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * across – 8 sc.

Row 5: Ch 1, turn, sc in each of first 2 sts, ch 8, sl st in the same st just worked, sc in next 2 sts, ch 10, sl st in the same st just worked, sc in next 2 sts, ch 8, sl st in the same st just worked, sc to end of row.

Fasten off.

ICE CREAM SCOOP (make 2 each with B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K) Ch 2.

Rnd 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc; rep from * around – 30 sc.

Rnd 6: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 4 sc; rep from * around – 36 sc.

Rnd 7: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 5 sc; rep from * around – 42 sc.

Rnd 8: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 6 sc; rep from * around – 48 sc.

Rnd 9: *(Sc, hdc) in next st, 2 dc in next st, (hdc, sc) in next st, sl st in next st; rep from * 4 more times, leave remaining 28 sts unworked.

Fasten off.

GUMBALLS (make 2 each with A, B, E, G, H, and I) Ch 2.

Work 5 sc in first ch.

Fasten off.



MINT CHIPS (make 8) With C, ch 4.

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across.

Fasten off.

CONE With L, ch 12.

Row 1: Hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across – 10 sc.

Row 2: Ch 2, turn, hdc2tog, hdc across to end of row - 9 sc.

Row 3: Ch 2, turn, hdc2tog, hdc in each of the last 7 hdc – 8 sc.

Row 4: Ch 2, turn, hdc2tog, hdc in each of the last 6 hdc – 7 sc.

Row 5: Ch 2, turn, hdc2tog, hdc in each of the last 5 hdc – 6 sc.

Row 6: Ch 2, turn, hdc2tog, hdc in each of the last 4 hdc – 5 sc.

Row 7: Ch 2, turn, hdc2tog, hdc in each of the last 3 hdc – 4 sc.

Row 8: Ch 2, turn, hdc2tog, hdc in each of the last 2 hdc – 3 sc.

Row 9: Ch 2, turn, hdc2tog, hdc in the last hdc – 2 sts.

Row 10: Ch 2, turn, hdc2tog.

Fasten off.

FINISHING Sew the cherry to the whipped cream.

Sew one hot fudge piece to the top of each D scoop.

Sew one of each color gumball to each F scoop.

Sew straight stitch sprinkles in colors as desired to each B scoop.

Sew straight stitch sprinkles with C to each J scoop.

Sew 4 mint chips to each H scoop.

Sew cherry and whipped cream to top of fudge topped D scoop.

Lap D scoop over next scoop and sew in place in the following order: E, F, C, B, G, J, K, H, and I; then rep beginning with remaining D scoop.

Sew the cone to the bottom of the last scoop.

Weave in ends.
