19 stitches + 24 rows = 4 in. [10 cm] in Washcloth pattern.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. I made this in verigated cotton thread. I cut it down to 20 stiches. It makes about a 5-1/2 by 6 in cloth. You can then squeeze in out with one hand. I made it a little bigger than my hand size. It is a very nice pattern to make.
