GAUGE:
9 sts and 15 rows = 4"/10cm over basketweave pat foll chart BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

Cont in pat as established until piecemeasures 6.5"/16.5cm from beg. Side shaping Dec 1 st each side on next row, then every 4throw 6 times more-69 sts. Work even untilpiece measures 14"/35.5cm from beg. Dec 1st each side every other row 13 times-43 sts.Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 4 rows, 4 sts atbeg of next 4 rows. Bind off rem 15 sts.
LEFT FRONTCast on 43 sts. Row 1 (RS) Work in k1, p1 rib to last 3 sts,work 3 sts in garter st (for front band). Cont inpats as established for 5 more rows.
