Mondrian Blanket
Lion Brand® Cotton-Ease® (original)
GAUGE: 16 stitches + 16 rows = 4 inches [10 cm] in single crochet. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: Changing colors Work last stitch of first color until there are 2 loops left on hook. Drop first color to wrong side, and complete stitch with new color.

NOTES: Blanket has no border. Leave strands long enough to weave in on wrong side.
Chart is read from right to left on right side rows, and left to right on wrong side rows.

BLANKET
With A, chain 16; with B, chain 4; with A chain 177 – 197 chains.  Row 1 (right side) Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and each chain across, changing colors where indicated on chart – 196 single crochets.
Continue following chart, chain 1, turn, single crochet into each single crochet. When 232 rows of chart are complete, fasten off. Weave in ends.
