Big Granny Square Afghan
Lion Brand®
Homespun® - Chenille Thick & Quick®
GAUGE: Rnd 1 should measure 3¼" x 3¼" (8.25 cm) using larger hook and 2 strands of Homespun.
8 sts = 4" (10 cm); 4 rnds border = 4½" with smaller hook and 1 strand Chenille Thick & Quick. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
