BOA
With A, chain 67. Row 1 Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook and in each chain across – 66 sc. Row 2 Chain 1, turn. Working in front loop only of each stitch, * 1 single crochet in next single crochet, chain 7; repeat from * across, ending 1 single crochet in last stitch. Row 3 Chain 1, turn. Work 1 sc in remaining (unworked) loop of each sc worked in previous row – 66 sc. Rows 4 and 5 Repeat Rows 2 and 3. Row 6 Change to Color B and repeat Row 2. Row 7 Repeat Row 3. Rows 8 and 9 Repeat Rows 2 and 3. Fasten off and weave in ends.

| I made this with worsted-weight yarn and a size L hook. I lengthened the starting chain to 101, then each loop was made with 10 chains rather than the specified 7. If you want a longer loop, lengthen the chain. I also alternated the two colors every row instead of doing 2 rows of each color at a time. The result was a more compact boa, with a smaller striping pattern, perfect for a 10-year-old (see photo). She will be the envy of her cheer squad. Go Polk Pioneers!
