Square = 8 in x 8 in [20.5 x 20.5 cm BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
PANEL – Make 3 With A, ch 21.
Row 1 Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across; turn – 20 dc. Row 2 Ch 2 (counts as first dc), dc in each dc across; turn.
Repeat Row 2 until Panel measures 56" [142 cm] from beg. Fasten off.

3 dc in corner; join with slip st in top of beg ch. Rnd 2 Ch 2, dc in each dc around, working 3 dc in each corner dc; join
with slip st in top of beg ch. Fasten off C. Rnd 3 With RS facing,join A in first dc to the left of any corner
dc, *ch 3, skip 2 dc, sc in next dc; repeat from * around, ending with ch 3;
join with slip st in same dc as joining. Fasten off A. Rnd 4 With RS facing,join B in same dc as previous rnd, *ch 3,
