Cloche Reviewed by Gina on 2009-11-08 *****
I just made this cloche pattern out of a mauve mohair-alternative yarn. It came out beautifully and fits comfortably. My head is usually a small hat size so I think this will fit a range of head sizes because it does not need to stretch at all to fit around my head.

The flower ended up being larger than I anticipated, but the size is perfect. It took me about 3 hours to make, but I will probably make many of these to give away as gifts. I like one of the other reviewer's idea to put a bead in the center of the flower, too.

I haven't tried the cape, but have used many other free Lion Brand patterns and have always been very pleased with the results. You might want to try this hat (and muff) if you like hats http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/pierrotBeretAndMuff.html?noImages=. I made matching hats for me and my daughter and a muff for her. She feels like a princess wearing them!
