GAUGE:
17 stitches (one pattern repeat) + 12 rows = 6 inches [15 cm] in pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION:
sc2tog (sc decrease)
Insert hook into stitch and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next stitch and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook.
COLOR SEQUENCE: (3 rows A, 3 rows B, 3 rows C) 11 times, 3 rows A.
THROW With A, ch 118. Row 1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 6 ch, 3 sc in next ch, sc in next 7 ch, (skip next 2 ch, sc in next 7 ch, 3 sc in next ch, sc in next 7 ch) 6 times; turn. Row 2 Ch 1, sc2tog, sc in next 6 sc, (3 sc in next sc, sc in next 7 sc, skip next 2 sc, sc in next 7 sc) 6 times, 3 sc in next sc, sc in next 6 sc, sc2tog; turn. Rows 3-102 Continuing in Color Sequence above, repeat Row 2 for 100 more times. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
