Small glass vase or bottle
Hot glue / glue gun
Found materials for decoration (we used sea shells we'd found on vacation and tiny seed pods we found on a walk around the neighborhood and spray-painted gold!)
Get an attractive empty bottle or small vase.
In our example, we used an empty vitamin bottle and a couple of vases that we got from the dollar store.
Tie a piece of the Incredible ribbon yarn around the neck, leaving a tail of about 12 inches [30.5 cm]
Tie two other pieces of ribbon around the neck and space them so that there are three evenly-positioned groups of ribbon.
You can use about any kind of yarn you want -- or even more than one yarn! In one of our examples, we used Trellis yarn as well as Incredible.
Using the hot melt glue, position one or more of your decorative items over the knot on the neck and glue in place.
Put a dab of hot glue on the side of the vase and position two strands of yarn over it so that they cross.
Using the hot melt glue, position more of your decorative items where the ribbons cross and
Stand the vase up and tie off the ribbon below the point where it is secured with the glue.
Fill the vase with a pretty flower arrangement.
Use your imagination! Putting leaves in an arrangement fills it out and makes it look pretty.
You can also put items in the vase with the flowers -- we used some of our extra shells in the blue vase as filler to hid the flower stems; in the vase with the yellow flowers, we put some red berries from the holly tree in the yard.
Every effort has been made to have the knitting and crochet instructions accurate and complete. We cannot be responsible for variance of individual knitters and crocheters, human errors, or typographical mistakes.
