GAUGE: Gauge is not significant to this project.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

This is a very easy a fast working pattern. I made up several(10) of them yesterday in a couple of hours.
I used this pattern and put it with another pattern on this site: CROCHETTED ROSETTES/FLOWERS. I used the medium sized flowers to adorn the headbands for my ten year old daughter and she loved them. They were a real hit.
This was a very simple project. It worked up quickly. It was something that is going to get alot of use and was loved form the start. I would highly reccommend this pattern to others. It was very easy to understand and follow.
For this project I used 4-ply worsted weight yarn and an h-size crochet hook.
