Waffle Scarf
Lion Brand® Trellis® - Moonlight Mohair
GAUGE: 7 single crochets + 6 rows = 4" [10 cm].
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
NOTES: Loose quality of this Scarf does not require exact gauge. The Scarf is worked with 1 strand of Trellis and 1 strand of Moonlight Mohair held together throughout.Cut Trellis fringe (see below) before starting the Scarf.

SCARF With 1 strand of Trellis and 1 strand of Moonlight Mohair held together, make a slip knot. Chain 9, loosely.Row 1 Work a single crochet in the second chain from the hook, work a single crochet in every following chain; turn – 8 single crochets. Row 2 Chain 1, work a single crochet in each single crochet across; turn – 8 single crochets. Repeat Row 2 until you run out of one of the yarns or to desired length. Fasten off. Apply fringe.FRINGE Cut 50 strands of Trellis 16 inches [40.5 cm] long. For each fringe, hold 5 strands of yarn together and fold in half. Use crochet hook to draw fold through edge of Scarf, forming a loop. Pull ends of fringe through this loop. Pull to tighten. Make 5 fringes along each short side of Scarf with 5 strands of yarn in each fringe. Trim fringe if necessary.

| This pattern is so easy I have it memorized. I have made several and each one takes me about 2 hours and its a long scarf. I match it to an mesh beanie with a flower made from the railroad yarn only. I hate the cloche hat in the pic.
