4' of 1/2 inches wide satin ribbon Note If collar is to be sewn onto a garment, omit ribbon.
GAUGE:
18 sts + 36 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in Garter st (k every row). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

INSTRUCTIONS



COLLAR Cast on 18 sts. Row 1 Slip 1, k across. Repeat Row 1 until piece measures 23 inches or desired length. Bind off all sts. Weave ribbon across one long edge.
