Sewing needle and matching thread Straight pins Note Measure your garment's collar and cuffs before purchasing yarn. A larger measurement than above will require additional yarn.
GAUGE:
22 stitches + 28 rows = 4 inches [10 cm] in Reverse Stockinette Stitch (purl on right side, knit on wrong side). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.


INSTRUCTIONS



TRIM Collar Cast on 17 stitches. Work even in Reverse Stockinette Stitch until piece measures same length as jacket collar. Bind off. Cuffs Cast on 12 stitches. Work even in Reverse Stockinette Stitch until piece measures same length as jacket cuffs, keeping button and buttonhole uncovered. Bind off. FINISHING Pin collar and cuffs to jacket. Using sewing needle and thread, sew collar and cuffs along all 4 edges.
