GAUGE:
12 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in garter stitch (knit every row) BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
Exact gauges is not imporant to this project.

NOTES:
When changing colors, leave a 6 inches end for weaving in.


INSTRUCTIONS



SCARF

With A, cast on 18 stitches.

Work in garter stitch for 6 inches.

Break off A.
With B, work in garter stitch for 6 inches.

Break off B.
Continue alternating between Colors A and B until 15 stripes have been worked, ending with A.

Bind off to match cast on.

Weave in all ends.
