GAUGE: Each repeat = 4" (10 cm) wide; 4" (10 cm) high. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: SKP Slip 1, knit 1, pass the slipped stitch over
STITCH PATTERN (multiple of 11) Row 1 and all RS rows *K2tog, k 3, k into the (front, back, front) of the next st, k 3, SKP; repeat from *. Rows 2,4,6 and 8 Knit. Rows 10 and 12 Purl.

AFGHAN With A cast on 77 sts. Work pat Rows 1-8. Change to MC and work Rows 9-12. Continue as established, working 8 rows in contrasting color; 4 rows in MC, in the following color sequence A, MC, B, MC, C, MC, 2 times; then work through one more repeat ending with 8 rows C. Bind off.

| I made this once and it came out beautiful. Just need to pay attention to the pattern closely.
