GAUGE:
10 sts + 20 rows = 4 inches [10 cm] in Garter st (knit every row). When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. Dec Row (RS) *K to 2 sts before marker, k2tog; repeat from * 2 more times, k to end - 53 (57, 61, 65) sts.



Repeat Dec Row every 10th row 3 more times - 44 (48, 52, 56) sts.

Work even until piece measures 17 (18, 18 1/4, 19)" [43 (45.5, 47, 48.5) cm], ending with a WS row.

Shape Armholes

Bind off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows - 40 (44, 48, 52) sts.
